What is ADAPEP?
The Alcohol-Drug Abuse Prevention Education Program (ADAPEP) is a school based substance abuse prevention program that provides school districts with information, education and counseling services at the elementary, middle and high school levels.
Established in 1971, ADAPEP is funded by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services and the participating school districts, with the support of the Onondaga County Department of Mental Health and the Madison County Department of Mental Health.
