Two students from the Tanya Komar’s graphics classes in Cortland received honors in the 2020 Central New York Scholastic Art Awards. The winning submissions were selected among the 4,650 individual submissions.
For OCM BOCES, Alice Parmiter from Homer High School captured a Silver Key in Comic Art for her work titled, “Cries.” Gillian Wintermute from Tully High School captured an Honorable Mention in Digital Art for her work, titled “Eye.”
The artwork will be on display at the Whitney Applied Technology Center on the Onondaga Community College campus through Feb. 28.
